Every June 28th We Recognize The Importance of The Logistics Industry
Although the concept of logistics has been around for centuries, a national day of recognition was only first introduced in 2019. Especially in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, the transportation, shipping, and logistics companies across the world are worthy of the recognition. They have worked hard to ensure PPE and vaccines are delivered to where they are needed and that our country can keep running. How Did The Holiday Come To Be?
National Logistics Day was founded in 2019 when Logistics Plus Inc. partnered with the Registrar at National Day Calendar to create June 28th as a National Holiday. This day was created for both our national and global economies to recognize and appreciate the importance of the logistics industry, and how it has evolved over time.
